On the so-called Great Meadow between Velká and Malá Čermná, the ghost of a mysterious rider appeared on bleak autumn days. He rode a horse whose mouth shot fire and whose hooves did not touch the ground. The rider was headless, his body wrapped in a white bloodstained cloak. He held a sword that showered fiery sparks. The terrible apparition circled the Great Meadow several times and vanished as mysteriously as it had appeared.
