Between the Prague suburb and the village of Kukleny there used to be a small, inconspicuous pond said to be bottomless. An enchanted château supposedly lay within it. On Easter Sunday bells were heard from the pond and pillars of fire rose from the water. At that time two enchanted maidens, accompanied by a dragon, always went from the château to its chapel. At least, this is the account given by J. V. Grohmann, a collector of Czech legends in the previous century.
